Photography and Canvas Art

I am passionate about both photography and painting. With my photographic work, I focus heavily on black and white atmospheric landscapes, along with moody vignetted prints. In contrast, my acrylic paintings trend toward bold colorful abstracts and blue moody seascapes. In 2024, I showcased my work in two local galleries, The Grinning Possum and FACS. To view some examples of my recent work, please visit my online gallery by clicking the link below.

Mixed media and paper art

I am devoted to utilizing paper and lightweight cardboard materials that might otherwise be tossed into the bin. Creating mixed media and junk journaling supplies allows my love of up-cycling and art to merge. There are numerous forms of mixed media paper arts. However, the general definition of a junk journal states: A book that is hand bound using up-cycled materials. Old music sheets, book pages, junk mail, and packaging material can easily form page bases. Old ephemera such as stamps, postcards, and ticket stubs make excellent accent pieces. Paints, gesso, inks, and fabrics can add a whimsical mixed media element to these creations.Interested? I teach in person classes, perfect for small festivals, parties, and friends night in. These classes are geared toward beginner and intermediate paper artists. Please feel free to contact me for further information.
